Bournville Architects have been appointed by GPI to design a new Primary Healthcare Centre in a rural area of Anglesey, North Wales. The new 1250sqm centre, due to start on site in Autumn 2008, will combine much needed GP accommodation for the local Glanrafon Surgery, Clinic space for Chiropody and other Trust services and a new dispensing Pharmacy & Chemist shop - combining all local Primary Care services under one roof.
The scheme will achieve NEAT Excellent, the highest sustainability rating under the NHS Environmental Assessment Toolkit, and will feature sedum roofs, a ground source heat pump and solar thermal heating of domestic hot water..jpg)  |
